National Shrine of Our

Lady of Czestochowa

(Chen-sto-hova)

          Doylestown, PA

Dedicated on October 16, 1966 (President L.B. Johnson was one of the speakers) to commemorate 1000 years of Poland's Christianity (966), it is located in Bucks County on top of Beacon Hill. The Marian Shrine was originally housed in a barn which still stands on the property near the rear of the cemetery which has some of the most beautiful grave stones we have ever seen. Presently they are constructing a new building and making major improvements to the grounds.

Don't wait until you're in the area to visit this shrine - make a special trip!
