This parish was formed by the union of two missions in 1887 and soon afterward a partial healing took place on the feast of St. Anne. The following year on the same day the healing was completed and the parishioners formed a procession in thanksgiving to God for this favor obtained through the intercession of St. Anne.

In 1955 the Shrine and Parish came under the care of the Assumptionists and in 1971 they brought in their collection of Russian icons for all to view (bottom picture).

Plan to spend one or two days here and you won't regret it.
